I get a thrill from believing in people because of the conviction I’ve gained from those who have believed in me. I’m so grateful for the work I get to do to serve other businesses and creatives. It’s a total gift from God that is never lost on me.

I think we are all called to that kind of contribution: something offered to the Lord and to others that is as unique and unrepeatable as we are. Growing up, this truth had always felt in conflict with the path I was supposed to walk. The path an eldest daughter, immigrant, overachiever was supposed to take. The conflict brought me through a battle with anxiety, and it turned out to be one of the ways I drew closer to God.

I started this studio out of a desire to stay home and spend more time with my daughter Lilo. She was my ultimate why to leave my job and begin walking an unfamiliar road... A creative path. Her existence gave me the eyes to see myself through God’s eyes: a daughter who simply needs to trust. She continues to inspire all of the work I do.

I’m a big believer in following our curiosities and having personal projects. They’re unhurried places where we can become receptive to the new avenues we are being called into. My work has progressed into paths I never could have pictured at the outset; shaped by the people I’ve met, the experiences I’ve had, and the ways I’ve grown. Today, by way of offering creative marketing services, my journal: The Creator’s Pursuit, and putting together gatherings (the creative play dates I’ve personally needed), I get to help others discover the language, visuals, and practices that help them contribute what only they can.
